The 2026 Numismatic Collection Pays Tribute to the 100th Anniversary of ACF Fiorentina
A century of ACF Fiorentina's history is celebrated in a €5 silver coin issued by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and minted by Zecca dello Stato.
Struck in Proof-quality silver, the coin marks 100 years of a sporting legacy that has become deeply intertwined with the history and identity of Florence, reflecting the enduring bond between the club and the city that has accompanied its journey since 1926.
The obverse features the lily, Fiorentina's iconic emblem and the historic symbol of Florence. Enhanced with coloured elements, the design highlights both the club's identity and its strong connection to the Tuscan capital.
The reverse depicts a striking view of Florence, showcasing the city's unmistakable skyline beneath a cloud-streaked sky. The composition creates a dialogue between Florence's cultural heritage and Fiorentina's sporting tradition, underlining how the purple lily has become one of the most recognisable symbols of Florentine identity, both in Italy and around the world.
